Let it snow

The first snow has fallen here in The Netherlands :) It's actually snowing as we speak, right now!
That means it's time (oficially ;)) for hot chocolate's, sitting near the fireplace, ice skating, snowfights, etc..
It looks so great, and it looks like it's gonna be a white christmas ♥. Let's hope so...

Glitters for the holidays

The first thing I think of when I think about what to wear during the holidays is glitter! It is one of those moments when it's allowed to wear it (of course it is normally as well, but it seems to be generally more accepted during christmas time). That's a weird thing by the way, maybe society wants to keep glitter special? maybe my view of it isn't correct, but I got the idea that glitter is more accepted during the holidays. Maybe a special touch for the special days. Anyhow, those gorgeous heels, don't you love 'em? I sure do.. If I could only wear them for one day I would be satisfied, and craving for them after that moment. 

I really like those glitter skirts, The third one specially, It would look awesome. 

 I Hope you will all have the most wonderful holidays, with lots of champagne, delicious food, pretty cothes and fun moments!

Rockstars that influenced fashion

Yes, Rockstars that influenced fashion. I think every rockstart that was as famous as Kurt  must have influenced the fashion scene. that's logical if you'd ask me. A large group of people was (and still is) adoring the band, including the clothes they wore. Kurt cobain, of course, was an important person in the grunge scene. He wore red blocked blouses, green knitted cardigans, ripped up jeans, weird sunglasses... Sounds pretty much like Kurt to me. Below a few photos that may give you a short view of his style, followed by some fashion-a-like photos, inspired by kurt.

1. Starbucks hot chocolate milk with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. unfortunately, here in the Netherlands they don't have marshmellows at starbucks to put in the hot choco's. Neverthelesss, it was delicious!

Finally, it's December! :) I've been waiting for this month, since the 1st of january. 

I love this month so much, just to name a few:

- Christmas

- Sinterklaas (dutch sort of Christmas)

- New years eve

- All of the dinner parties, NYE parties

- All the lights in the city

I've planned to go to London this spring, I really can't wait for it. 

My heart on weheartit.com is full of london photos. I'm searching for the best hotels, close to the city and not too expensive. And I'm already waiting for the spring collections to arrive at topshop, primark, lipsy, etc.. 

And my question for you is: Any shopping tips? must see places that aren't as famous as the big ben ;) nice clubs,  that sort of things, or nice vintage shops. And for the ones who've been there before and love the same music as I do ( Rock: guns n roses, acdc, led zeppelin, doors, beatles, stones, etc, pink floyd) maybe some fine music stores or something.

Yes, I thought it might be funny to start a tumblr blog as well. Of course this will be the ''main blog'', the tumblr one will be (I'm trying) a bit more lazier. Delicious chocolate cake recipe

What else is better than some hot chocolate milk  and a piece of chocolate cake (two layered ☺ ) on a cold winters day? Well, maybe some hot chocolate, chocolate cake, marshmellows, lots of money to go shopping, great music on the background, and your boyfriend who just brought you a new pair of shoes as a surprise.. Ah, well,  since I don't have the power to give you all the above, we just have to be satisfied with hot chocolate milk and selfmade chocolate cake ♥ delicious! So below you will find a recipe to make a twolayed chocolate cake, with frosting. Enjoy it!

Oh, I love these pretty, pretty shoes. I'm searching for great black (suede) ancleboots just like these. And I'm gonna find them. Oh-so-pretty.. ♥ Tomorrow I am going to shop and search.. ;)

 Unfortunately I've been very busy, that's why I didn't post too much.  Making clothes seems to be a new obsession. I finally finished my midi skirt. I will post photos very soon, And have already plenty of new ideas! One of my ideas is to make an assymetric skirt. 

8 things I love

Snow, It somehow makes me feel so happy. When it starts snowing, I get that christmas-a-like feeling. And the sound of fresh snow, when you step into it.. But on the otherhand I hate it to cycle to school in the snow. You fall so fast because the streets are glazed with frost. And all those hot chocolatemilks ♥

Last friday I went to paris, and it was amazing. It was my 5th time to visit this beautiful city. The city is awesome, and so romantic. we arrived there arond 11.30 and went straight to Champs Elysées, went to Abercrombie & Fitch. That shop is such an experience. Then we went to H&M and I bought my shoes♥ (Pretty ones)  

Tomorrow: Paris

In a few hours I will leave this cold, rainy country and trade it for one day for Paris. I've heard it's warmer there. ;) and the same day we will leave in the evening. But I'll probably be back very soon. 
So I'm going to shop, wander around in the beautiful streets, those kind of things. I've been looking forward to this day since the day I heard I would be going to Paris....

Theyre lovely, they're wearable with nearly everything, They look oh-so-comfortable, and they give me that feeling when you've just discovered something really amazing and beautiful... 
And the best is yet to come... Theyre only €24.95 How cheap for such beauty's? 


I will definitely be buying a pair of these when I'm in Paris this friday (♥).
 And I will by the way make loads of photos there, and buy loads of cool beautiful clothes, shoes, and more nice things (hopefully). And if they don't sell them in paris (can't imagine) than I'll buy them as soon as possible online when im back.

Unfortunately the weekend's almost over, but luckily I've got some gorgeous jumpers for you! The weekend was great. Bougth woolen mittens and a cap. Both verly light pink. And the new Labello (vitamin shake). I love weekends ♥ well but who doesnt?

New obsession: Jeffrey Campbell's Lita's

Oh yes, I love Lita's. They look so amazing, and have some kinda instant fashion look. It makes every outfit better. You've got them in every color and every print. They seem unbreakable, it seems you can wear them endlessly and they don't even have one tiny scratch. Plus they're my style, I love to wear dresses and these can go perfect with some tights and a nice dress. They ain't that expensive €150-200 ain't that much. I'd love to have black leather ones, brown leather ones or red leather ones. Bordeau red. You'll see my perfect pair on the last photo of this post.

I'm saving for these shoes. You may think  €150 ain't much money. But you can only spent it once. And I've got more things on my buylist.  So that means I've gotta work more to get them!

I love sale, all sorts of sales.. season sales, midseason sales, national glamour day sales, normal sales.. And luckily at Asos there's a midseason sale right now! Unfortunately I should save some money for the 4th of november, my day in paris! So I won't be buying anything. But I will share my favourite items with you.  :)
